Artist Statement-  I am from the suburbs of Chicago and winters there are freezing cold. My inspiration for this project was Sunshine because I just moved to Florida for college. Florida is also known as the Sunshine State, so I created my letter into a sun. I wrote my letter about moving here and my future.  Letter- Dear Future Ella, Currently, you are a freshman in college at the University of Tampa. Your major is Advertising and Public Relations. You are in Morsani Hall and love it. Natalia just came and visited you, which you really needed because you were super homesick. I plan to graduate in the next 3-4 years and hope to end up with a job or internship I love. I love my sorority Delta Gamma and all the girls I have met. Right now, life feels like a ray of sunshine. You go to a great school and my roommate is so nice. I hope in 20 years that I will be married with a family. Now I want to live in Illinois where I grew up or wherever my sisters end up living. There is actually a lot you can do to your workspace before you create it. You can adjust measurement units and how many art boards. These are all features you can use before even starting your workspace. At first I was extremely ov erwhelmed with all the tools and features. The control bar is one of the most helpful tools because it is context based so it will change depending on what object or tool you have selected.       Hi! I'm Ella Riordan. I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. My first feelings of this class were nervous and unsure. I would say I am not good with photoshop. I would also say I'm not the best with technology, but I enjoy being creative and I want to learn. I took a digital photo art class my sophomore year of high school but that's about it. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and I like to be social. I also enjoy working out, going to the pool, going out to dinner, and traveling. A fun fact about me is that I have 35 first cousins because my dad is the youngest of nine. I enjoy going to my grandmas weekly and seeing everyone. I also have three siblings, two older and one younger. My family owns a construction company so I'm currently building my new house.
