Riordan Ella Calligramme



Artist Statement- 
I am from the suburbs of Chicago and winters there are freezing cold. My inspiration for this project was Sunshine because I just moved to Florida for college. Florida is also known as the Sunshine State, so I created my letter into a sun. I wrote my letter about moving here and my future. 






Letter-

Dear Future Ella,

Currently, you are a freshman in college at the University of Tampa. Your major is Advertising and Public Relations. You are in Morsani Hall and love it. Natalia just came and visited you, which you really needed because you were super homesick. I plan to graduate in the next 3-4 years and hope to end up with a job or internship I love. I love my sorority Delta Gamma and all the girls I have met. Right now, life feels like a ray of sunshine. You go to a great school and my roommate is so nice. I hope in 20 years that I will be married with a family. Now I want to live in Illinois where I grew up or wherever my sisters end up living. I am not sure what kind of job I want but I may end up working with my family. I also hope to have a vacation home here in the Sunshine State! I also want to travel to many different states and countries. I cannot wait to see what jobs my sisters end up having. I also have a little sister who is only in eighth grade so I wonder what college she will end up at. My family and I just recently moved into our new house. So, it will be so different when I one day am moving into my own home with my own family. I enjoy working out and trying new foods. I am excited to look back and see the new adventures I go on. My favorite things to do on campus are hammock, go to the pool, hang out with friends, try new restaurants in downtown Tampa, and more. My favorite restaurant here is called Modern Italian Forbici. My favorite meal to get is the Caesar salad and pesto pasta. I hope I still enjoy these hobbies and more in the next twenty years!

We also use it for advertising, social media, and entertainment purposes.  The World Wide Web is all public websites and pages that users can access on computers and other devices. Tim Bermers Lee and Robert Cailliau are the founders of the World Wide Web. It was created in 1989. It was originally used to share information between scientists in universities and institutes around the world. The world wide web opened the internet to everyone not just scientists. Somewhere

  Artist Statement: My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls which is why I chose it for my project. I have rewatched it multiple times. The show makes you feel connected with the characters because you know so much about their personal lives. I am very close with my family and sisters. Using this show for my "Somewhere" project felt right. I also chose the scene where they are taking a family picture after the character Rory's graduation.
