    1. under each video write 1-2 paragraphs about what you think which tool/tools will be easy or hard to use, how you might use it, and what you find interesting about the video.

Video 1:
Indesign is a layout to make books, magezines, newspapers, and many other creative works. You are also able to transfer your logos from photoshop or illustrator into your books, magezines, or newspapers in Indesign. You are mostly going to be using the selection tool in Indesign. The frame tool will also be helpful in helping us work with our images. If you right click on the ruler you can easily change from picas to inches if you forgot to when creating your file.


Video 2:
Indesign has many tools but there are tools that you will commonly use. For exmaple the selection tool, it allows you to expand your frame or crop the image. When placing an image you can click the image in once and it will appear at 100%. You can also click and drag to adjust the picture how you like, or in the upper right hand corner there are image adjustment tools. These allow you to fill the image to proportion or you can numerically customize the size of your frame if you know the exact numbers you need.  



Video 3:
Indesign also allows you to create a text frame. Using the text tool you click and drag the text frame and then under the type menu you can click "Fill with Placeholder Text". When inserting an image it is important to not have a frame selected. To do this you can click the escape tool and then click somewhere on the page to deselected from your current text frame. Also if you want to see your spread fully you can click view then fit spread in window. This allows you to see your entire layout at once.

It then expanded for communication purposes. Now today the internet is used for all sorts of things. We use it to communicate with friends and family. We also use it for advertising, social media, and entertainment purposes.  The World Wide Web is all public websites and pages that users can access on computers and other devices. Tim Bermers Lee and Robert Cailliau are the founders of the World Wide Web. It was created in 1989. It was originally used to share information between scientists in universities and institutes around the world. The world wide web opened the internet to everyone not just scientists. It also opened blogs, video sharing, and more....

Somewhere

  Artist Statement: My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls which is why I chose it for my project. I have rewatched it multiple times. The show makes you feel connected with the characters because you know so much about their personal lives. I am very close with my family and sisters. Using this show for my "Somewhere" project felt right. I also chose the scene where they are taking a family picture after the character Rory's graduation.
