  Artist Statement: My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls which is why I chose it for my project. I have rewatched it multiple times. The show makes you feel connected with the characters because you know so much about their personal lives. I am very close with my family and sisters. Using this show for my "Somewhere" project felt right. I also chose the scene where they are taking a family picture after the character Rory's graduation. 

The image  I think would be really hard to Photoshop myself into: I am not sure where I would photoshop myself into this picture. It would be difficult because there is little background space. The frame is mostly taken up by two people already. I could maybe insert myself in the very front of the image or stand behind both of them. Image that inspired me or gave me an idea for the "Somewhere" project: This image inspired me for my Somewhere project because I wanted to be able to insert myself next to someone or something. The picture that I ended up choosing was a family picture scene from my favorite show Gilmore Girls. Though the sandwich is not a person it gives off the same idea of the picture.  Set of images that made me laugh: When I saw this picture I immediaty started laughing.  Original BW BW to Color #1 BW to Color #2 BW to Color #3 Artist Statement: The photo I took of myself was a picture of me on the beach. To me the beach is my happy place and where I love to spend most of my time. I chose pink, red, orange, and yellow color hues to add into each of my pictures. The first reason being pink and yellow are my two favorite colors. In my first image I did more cool tones. In my second image I did warm colors like orange and yellow hues. I believe that those colors complement each other well. My last image is my favorite because I love the way pink and red hues look together.
